Breast Cosmetic what is Facial implants:

Facial implants are an effective way to enhance the facial skeleton, supplement deficient fat and compensate for the progressive tissue atrophy of aging. why facial implants?

The most common implants for the face are those for the chin, the cheek, the tear trough deformity (the deep grooves beneath the eyes) the upper jaw deficiencies around the base of the nose (maxillary), the maxillary spine (which supplements the structural deficiency where nose meets upper lip), the sublabial sulcus (the deep groove beneath the lower lip), the angles of the jaw rim depression just in front of jowls, and many other areas requiring custom designed implants.

  • Extend or enlarge the chin if the chin is recessed or small.
  • Create a more defined facial profile if the jaw, chin, or cheeks lack distinction.
  • Bring the various aspects of the face into proportion.
  • Round out the cheeks if they are hollow due to heredity or aging.
  • Accent the upper cheeks making them appear higher and fuller.
Breast Cosmetic General procedure:

With chin surgery, an implant is inserted in front of the jawbone in order to augment the chin or jaw. A small incision is made inside the mouth to allow the implant to be positioned in a pocket just under the skin. An alternate location for this incision is below the chin (on the outside). Chin surgery is commonly performed along with rhinoplasty (nose surgery). With cheek augmentation, incisions are usually inside the mouth. Cheek implant surgery may also be performed in conjunction with a facelift.

How long it will take??

From 15 minutes to 2 hours

complications & Recovery:

Breast Cosmetic Pain is not a feature of implant surgery and rarely is it associated with these operations. There will be some swelling and occasionally bruising., swelling and bruising are entirely normal and is likely to last for up to two weeks though it usually subsides in the first 10 days. There will be some scarring which will heal quickly though this depends on the individual, Scars are commonly concealed within the month or elsewhere in a hard-to- find location. Chin, cheek, nose, and maxillary implants and their associated swelling sometimes offer an early feeling resistance to smiling and intricate lip- motions. This clears in a matter of weeks but the mouth effect is rarely detectable to another person after the first week. Recovery time varies from one patient to another though in all cases you will be advised to rest and takes things easy in the first week after the surgery. You should be able to return to work after a week to 10 days. Any physical activities should be kept to a minimum and in the case of contact sports, avoided for about 3 weeks. Most patients don't have any problems during the recovery period but in the rare case that you do, contact your surgeon immediately.
